We are a small manufacturing company that needed a mold base offering the flexibility to accommodate a variety of parts over its lifespan. StraightFlite suggested an innovative approach: creating a mold base with removable cavity inserts. This design allows us to produce 6 to 8 different parts by simply changing the inserts.

This approach has led to significant cost savings for us. We were able to purchase one mold base and then acquire smaller pieces of steel for each specific part we needed to manufacture.
StraightFlite has designed all of our molds, which we then built in-house. His designs consistently provide all the necessary information, enabling our tool department to successfully create every mold without a single design failure. As a tool and die maker myself, I attribute his exceptional design success to his background and experience as a tool and die maker.
